we are a very laid back family, my wife is a dermatologist , i 'm a champagne producer. we are slowly becoming old hands at the au pair business as we've had 5 au pairs up to now , we know what works and what doesn't..in another words we know what will make the experience a happy and productive one for the au pair and what does not work. as in life the essential condition of happiness and success is ...having friends..to do so you have to belong and to belong and find friends you have to be outgoing and more important...follow the french classes at the university. out of the 5 au pairs 2 did not follow that recipe and were unhappy and did not stay..2 of the 3 others had a great time ( one even married a french guy)the 3rd one is still with us till july ans is a member of several orchestras .. so the conditions are...go to school and learn french we will help pay for it to a point, we will provide a car money for gas , food and the usual pocket money ( and a mobile phone)...paris is but 45 mn away... your room is 2meter away from our indoor swimming pool if you like wine and champagne i can introduce you to some of the best french winemaker ( one of our previous au air has just started a sommelier course btw)
pick up and drive kids to school some diners t o prepare for the kids when we are not around not a very heavy schedule...you ll have time to go to your french lessons , go out at night etc..
