We are an open-minded, easy going and busy family living in Brisbane City itself. We are an open-minded, easy going and busy family. We currently have a much loved Au pair from Canada who intended to stay with us for atleast 3 years but due to unfortunate circumstances will be going back to home on the 4th April 2013 having lived and travelled with us for over a year. Prior to our current Au pair we had another lovely Au Pair for a year from Hiedelberg, Germany who I am still in touch with and we all miss her dearly. We like involving anyone living with us to activities that we do together as a family, be it going on holidays (overseas or otherwise), or going on long drives or even for dinners/lunches. I truly believe that once someone is living with us and especially looking after my kids they automatically become an honorary family member. We are a busy family, my husband Lincoln sometimes has to travel interstate, therefore I would hope to get an Au pair who is flexible and family orientated.

Currently, my son(3yrs) is in childcare 5 days and my daughter (1yr old) for 2 days. We are flexible in what we are looking for, 2 options: 1. Previously Qualified childcarers/ teachers - living with us and setting up an educational curriculum for my son ( I feel he might learn more one on one for 3 days a week) and looking after my daughter for 2 days a week. 2. Au pair with no previous childcare qualifications bur had experience being a nanny/au pair - looking after my daughter 3 days a week and feeding kids breakfast and drop off to childcare 5 days a week and some very light housework. We are a busy family, my husband Lincoln sometimes has to travel interstate, therefore I would hope to get an Au pair who is flexible and family orientated.
