We are a professional couple, my husband is German and I am French. We have lived in London for the last 10 years and have now moved to the lovely German city of Wiesbaden for professional reason and for a better family lifestyle. Our son who is currently 4.5 years old was born in the UK and we would like to continue his English education and language by having a lovely English au pair at home. We live in a converted flat within a very large old villa very close to the amenities such as the train station and shopping centre (couple of minutes walk) from Wiesbaden, which is the capital of the Hessen region about 30 minutes by train from Frankfurt so very convenient for the airport. My husband works in the finance industry in Frankfurt and I work in the skincare industry locally in Wiesbaden for an International company. We are both in our thirties and would like someone not too young but not too old either any age between 21-30 years old.The au pair would get a whole floor to herself with own toilet and bath on the top floor with really nice views over the town of Wiesbaden for more privacy. There are plenty of good language schools around the town for the au pair to learn German. It is a really nice place with good connections to Frankfurt and there are lovely restaurants and parks. We love good food and being French I prepare lovely meals so the au pair will certainly enjoy the culinary experience!
We are intending to combine the au pair with a local nursery or play groups to allow free time for the au pair and also so that Gabriel can learn German and mix with other children in his age group.I work half a day on Fridays and full time the other days. The au pair would primarily look after Gabriel, there would be light housework such as some cleaning and ironing and some cooking as we tend to take care of this ourselves. We would do all we can to accommodate the au pair so she feels at home. I have been an au pair myself 20 years ago so can only identify really well to this.It is likely that the au pair will take Gabriel to a nursery every day and he will be at nursery either all day or half a day. Some other activities may be food shopping to relieve some of our work. It would be great if the au pair had a driving licence as well.
