We are two busy parents working in the city (four days in the office, one day from home). We have three children: Ryan (10) and twin girls, Riya and Ava (7). We are looking for an au pair to help with school drop-offs and pick-ups for the girls, as well as after-school care. Our son is very independent, and we manage his needs, so this role will primarily focus on caring for the two younger children.
Primary responsibilities include: Preparing 7-year-old twins for school at 7:15 a.m. and walking or biking with them to school (15–20 minutes). Afternoon pickup at 3:15 p.m., followed by snacks, homework, and showers until 7:00 p.m. On some days, parents handle drop-offs and pickups. Light housekeeping: tidying children’s toys, putting away laundry, etc. Cooking for the children: typically reheating meals prepared by the mother, but occasionally preparing simple meals (e.g., pasta).
