Personal introduction

Hello! We (Victoria and Johannes) are looking for an au pair for our children Emil (5) and Ida (2). We live in a small village with a large house, our own garden, and close to the forest. We live about 6 km from the town of Rheinbach. It's about 30 km to Bonn and 55 km to Cologne. The nearest language school is in Rheinbach, which also houses an international university with many students. Rheinbach, Bonn, and Cologne are accessible by public transport. We are an open and relaxed family who would be thrilled to receive your support! It's important to us that you have a wonderful and fulfilling time in Germany. We are happy to support you with your travel plans and language courses. Best regards, Victoria, Johannes, Emil, and Ida

The Au pair's job

Emil and Ida both go to daycare in Rheinbach. We need your help in the morning to get the children dressed and ready for daycare. You would then take them both to daycare. From approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can organize your other tasks as you wish. Your responsibilities would include doing the children's laundry, going shopping, and light housework (e.g., emptying the dishwasher). You would then pick up the children from daycare around 3:30 p.m. and spend the afternoon with them until approximately 5:30 p.m. We have a large garden and plenty of space. Both children already play very independently, but would of course be happy to have someone to build Lego or dens with them. From time to time, the children would also need to be accompanied to friends' appointments, the doctor's office, or to their hobbies (e.g., soccer). If the children are sick, they are at home and need to be looked after. Otherwise, you would, of course, have most of the weekends free, unless we go out one evening. We hope that you enjoy spending time with the children and getting to know Germany :)
