We are a family of four. My wife is 39, Im 49 and our kids are 2 and 4. And since March 2020 have been living in a country house. But it's so close to the city we can drive there when we please. Also the metro station is only 30 minutes by car. We are physically very active, love nature (we have a green house were we cultivate spices, mushrooms and varios fruits and vegetables), sports, music and the arts. Nutrition and exercise are a big part of our lives. We love to spend time with our kids. . We are not helicopter parents at all. In fact we believe in treating children fair and with respect. "Never do for a child what he or she can do for him/herself well." is one of our pilars. To be honest this thing (looking for an aupair abroad) can be considered a bit out of the ordinary for most of our friends, but we do not care. We are very determined in giving our kids the beauty of a multi language multi cultural life. We also love to travel in our own country. If you come to stay with us you will get to know our country and it's people. If you love nature, kids, teaching and learning languages .. you will love this experience.
In short we would like for our kid to absorb you language and culture. We believe this will make them better human beings. You will also help us with our homeschooling program focusing on your native language. And by default, your country's history, culture and customs. This is our main goal with this program. Of course by just interacting with them in a loving manner they will learn you language ver quickly. We believe this very firmly. The kids are very independent. But we would need help sometimes putting them to bed or supervision on meal time, etc. but only as an added help, not as a main responsibility. We do have a person who helps us with cooking and cleaning, but it's important that you know that in our home we all help out at dinner time or when there are choirs to do. If learning a new language is important for you we can provide a Spanish and/or Italian tutor at no cost for you.
