Monday to Friday AU Pair would start by pick up children at school at 3pm and may be take them to tennis or swimming have a ready afternoon snack arrange simple dinner that most of the time is ready just need to dish out and read stories and bed. then really the work is finished but we would need her to be at home for the evening in case children wake up and someone needs to be at home, Mum and dad work late in the evenings. Mum always Take children to school and au pair picks them up or when children are off school mum always spend waking up and morning with children and au pair takes over at two pm One of my MUST requirements i don't mind where the Au pair is from but she MUST speak ITALIAN. I am an Italian dad and my children's Italian is their weakest, our current au pair stayed with us three years from Sardinia and I would like absolutely my children to be spoken fluent Italian from the Au Pair to improve their Italian. This is the one and only daddy request and for the rest Au pair and dad will be best buddies. Boss (mum) after a day at work she normally wants peace and quiet. the room we have in the house has the best view in the house . we back gladstone park and being on a second floor the room has a huge windows with the best views of the park , it seem like living on the countryside but we are not in the country more or less this is the Au pair routine. We would like her to be able to prepare light meals for the kids ( boil some frozen peas and put a chicken breast in the pan ) or the au pair we have now unleashed her cooking passion (for her own joy) not that we stopped her while cooking for her and the children . Mum and dad food have their own rail track . My wife is very respectful of the saturday and sunday off what might happen if we go out ( never ) ( only if au pair would be naturally at home ) we put children to bed ourselves and if au pair is at home we can go out knowing someone is at home Of course otherwise none of this would happen but this us going out happens 2 times a year may be. Au pair room have full internet smart TV inside a 4 metre build in wardrobe ( i mean i someways is the best room of the house and we want our au pair to be comfortable). key character of the Au pair would be someone that enjoys binging on Netflix and Tv on demands naturally . I read your description of the ideal family , we don't necessarily watch TV together because I get home about 10 pm at night most nights and Mum sometimes later. we make sure au pair have meal with us but likewise because we try to maximise family time when we can, normally Saturday and Sunday that's where also when we would like au pair to distract herself from what she was doing all week. I am not in charge in the children's matters, my wife is mainly is so as you say it is a settling for everyone . Definitely we made sure our current au pair was comfortable if she stayed with us three years. everyone need to lightly adjust and when you say the au pair normally comes from another country full of mysteries and expectation I fully understand what you are saying In My view I have a business with six staff and i kind of get a better grip of what is required to all be happy . My wife was an au pair herself many years ago and sometimes girls are a bit more anxious about relaxing and leaving their beloved most important thing in the world children to others . May be i am just confirming hot water to you but at least I hope i gave you a feeling of who we are. regards dad Marco
