We are looking for a good driver. Driving is a huge part of being our au pair. We would like someone who can be silly with our six year old and also enjoy watching sports with our ten year old. We want someone who enjoys spending time with us as a family, but is also outgoing and will make friends outside of the household. Preferably someone who is an older sibling or wants to work with children in their future (teacher, therapist, etc.). Also someone who is a dog lover as we have one lazy bulldog.
Hours usually begin at one thirty and end as late as nine thirty (however usually earlier). About two times a week, hours will begin at eleven thirty to allow for child related chores (laundry, linens, etc.) to be done while the kids are at school. Mornings are off so you can shop, go to the gym, study English, etc. Duties are to pick the boys up from school, unpack their lunchboxes and prepare lunches and snacks for the next day, supervise homework and chores, occasionally fix a simple kid-friendly dinner, and take them to evening activities (soccer, basketball, choir etc.). Mom is a teacher so schedule varies during non-school days.
