We are a happy, easy going family. We only have the one child - a three year old daughter who is happy, funny and quite easy. We also have a very friendly dog. We enjoy getting out and doing fun things on the weekend like hikes, day trips etc. We love to cook, travel, enjoy the odd glass of wine. We have a tidy, comfortable home and would be love to find someone who could become part of the family and who enjoys the similar things. Our house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and is less than 10 minutes walk from a train station with the train ride taking approx 40 minutes to the city. Our local town center with shops, restaurants and cafes is a two minute drive away and larger shopping center is only a 10 minute drive. We have a car which would be available for the au pair to use through the week. Melbourne and the state of Victoria has so much to offer including night life, beautiful locations for sight seeing including wine regions and beaches, culture, art galleries, music venues, sporting venues and everything else you could want!
My husband and I work five days a week in the city which means our week is very busy. We are looking for someone to help us two days per week with our daughter so she doesn't have to be in child care full time. She would go to child care three days per week, and have two days at home with the au pair. Small amount of light house work would be asked but au pair would have at least three whole days off, which can include weekends for them to either join in on our family outings or enjoy their own free time. We would also very occasionally ask for baby sitting at night time if we needed it. We may also ask that the au pair collects our daughter from childcare occasionally on the days she's there too. Au pair would have own fully furnished private room, bathroom, wifi, netflix etc and would be welcomed into our home like one of the family. A drivers licence is essential.
