We are a German family who has moved to California last year in December. We live in a lovely single family home here in the silicon valley. My husband is in tech and I am a Pastor hoping to start working half time in a congregation in Palo Alto in February 2019. My daughter (4 years) is a very lively and talkative girl with lots of ideas and projects for the day. My son (3 months) is an easy-going baby, who sleeps through the night and smiles when he is awake. We love to explore the country - so if you haven't seen a lot of the Westcoast, we can explore them together. If you are friendly, open and reliable and like to learn German, we are thrilled to be your host family. It is important that you are an American citizen (non-permanent US-residents like us are not allowed to become a host family for a non-american aupair).
Taking care of the little one while I am working (only half-time), driving to/from preschool. Helping to get the kids ready in the morning and in the evening. Sometimes granting us an evening off ;).
