Dear au pair, Our family has four members. Our two kids, both girls are aged 5 years old and 24 months old. The oldest Chrysanthi is finishing her second year in the school and she will probably attenting until the end of June (2018) summer camp her school organizes. The youngest Katerina she is enjoying her morning in the house garden or in the play ground with the morning childcare, and she is getting prepared for the a bilingual kindergarten she will start going in September. Both Chryssanthy and Katerina are bilingual. Mum worls in the bank, and dad is a judge so he works also from home. Usually in our every day routine, we all meet around 4:00 pm, and have early dinner altogether Chryssanthy is back from the school around 3:00. Usually Katerina has eaten around 1:00 before she takes her afternoon nap between 13:30 and 15:00. However, she companies us and talk and laugh altogether saying our morning stories at dinner time. After that we relax a bit and then we have a program for kids between 6:00 and 9:00. There are many things to do with kids! And many friends around to visit. We also invite friends at home as we have a fantastic garden to play! 9:00_9:30 we prepare kids for bed. We want them to sleep by 10:00, usually, except for the summer months that we can stay a bit longer as the whole afternoon schedule happens a bit later due to the heat! We spent most part of our summer in our summerhouse, 1,5hours driving distance from Athens in a house near a small forest and the sea.
Ideally we would like someone to start in the 1st ofJuly 2018 and stay with us around 6 months. We will be interviewing all of May 2018. We are looking for someone to be part of our family and help us especially with young Katerina, who still needs a lot of attention. We want someone who enjoys meeting up new people and follow us in our social interactions as we dont want Katerina to just stay at home and follow a strict schedule but rather acquire all the experience she can get by being a second child. So your tasks will be to follow us, mum and Chrysanthi or dad and Chrysanthi or the three of us together with Katerina. This will be pretty much our everyday routine. Now things change during the summer months, I.e. july and august and also some weekends during spring autumn that we are going to excursions. Other than that, we want you to spent time with kids, after 3:00pm and untill they go to bed around 9:00 and also 1,5 hours in the morning. We also have a lady to take care the morning housework, however we would expect help with light housework, especially in the weekends. In the mornings, you will have time, to do things for yourself. There are great places to visit in athens, and many interesting things to do during morning hours (i.e atte a greek language course)! We can guide you through, so you are having a full picture of our city and why not of our country, as we planning and hoping to do some travelling also this year!
