I, Robert (Father) runs a 4 star Hotel as General manager which demands a certain amount of flexibility, and a good chunk of time. My wife, Kathleen (mother) assists by running breakfast. We are finding the strain with the 3 boys a little overwhelming and need some support. We love walking, sports, water play and fishing with the boys but they are special occasions for dad. Trips to the beach and local village are almost daily, a great life if time is available.
The au pair would be expected to speak fluent German. Our children are 1/2 German (Mother) and we are very keen for the children to grow up bilingual. However I am not too good with German, so it doesn't get used too much around the house. The au pair would be expected to assist with the daily responsibilities of looking after 3 boys, whether this be walking 1 to the tiny local school (6 children) or going to the beach. The au pair would be expected to assist the Father with the early morning routine with the boys, the late finishes at work (1-3am) and the boys early shift (6-7am) are proving too much strain.
