We are a family in need of a great au pair and hope you will are the right person who can help! Our family is looking for an Au Pair who can mainly help us with the childcare of our son who is one year and 8 months. We are both working full time therefore the hours of care will be from Monday to Friday with the exception of Thursday because our son goes to nursery on Thursdays. We are a small easy going family of 3, and our family is extremely important to us, therefore we are looking for someone who loves being around children and would therefore provide the highest quality care to our son whilst we are at work. The type of person we are looking for is someone who has experience in looking after young children and is first aid certified or has experience in first aid, is friendly, easily approachable, is confident in communicate and brings a positive energy into the room and is very positive to be around. We would also like someone who has travelled the world to some extent and is receptive of people from different cultures. Our son is at the stage where he is beginning to learn more and explore the world around him, Therefore the au pair would ideally be someone who loves to get involved in activities with children such as singing nursery rhymes, reading, going to the park, playing in the garden, exploring different textures and tastes at meal time. In exchange for a great childcare, what we can offer you is a comfortable room in a nice and safe neighbourhood, friendship and mentorship with anything you might need help in e.g. to help you develop you English skills, an opportunity to experience a different city that what you are used to, and a positive working environment with positive people. In a few words I would describe our family as positive and easy going. We enjoy spending as much time as we can together, and when the weather is nice we enjoy going for walk with the baby in buggy, and playing outdoors with him. We are looking for someone who is able to also get involved with our son when we are at work, e.g. by taking him to the park and swings. If you think you match our requirements please get in touch. We are in urgent need!
Details of the job: We are looking for help with childcare during the weekday only, therefore the working hours for the au pair would be monday to friday and not Saturday or Sunday. So total working hours will be between 30 and 35 hours. Ideally we would like the au pair to be able to start as soon as possible, on Monday 19th February. The job is initially for 1 month until the 18th March, and depending on how things go this will be extended for a further 3 months until 19th June. The au pair can also get involved with some light housework, however the childcare is the primary focus of this job. We are looking for someone who is able to also get involved with our son when we are at work, e.g. by taking him to the park and swings, reading books, singing and dancing along to nursery rhymes, storytime and pretend play, and fun at meal time. Character/experience of au pair: The type of person we are looking for is someone who has experience in looking after young children and is first aid certified or has experience in first aid, is friendly, easily approachable, is confident in communicate and brings a positive energy into the room and is very positive to be around. We would also like someone who has travelled the world to some extent and is receptive of people from different cultures.
