Personal introduction

We are an active family, equally happy working in the garden, doing yoga, walking or going to a music festival. Eve is a very easy, smiley toddler! Molly likes doing craft, cooking, dancing and swimming. We have a friendly dog (Paddy) who loves cuddles. As well as dog walks and bike rides, we like good food, music and socialising. Soon, our current Au Pair will be leaving us after a year and a half with our family, we have had some amazing times and will be sad to see her go home. We live near Wantage, an historic market town in South Oxfordshire and half an hour from Oxford - which is a beautiful city. Wantage has a leisure centre, gyms, Swimming pool, good shops, cafes and pubs. Our aupair has lots of aupair friends nearby and also works in the local pub (which is lovely). Molly is 5 Years old and is in her second year at the local school. Eve will be 2 years old in November and goes to the local Nursery for 2 days a week. Andy and Camilla work full time, Monday - Friday in Newbury, a town 30 minutes from home. Our home has 5 bedrooms and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It overlooks a nature reserve in a lovely village with a pub, cafe and cricket/tennis/football club.

The Au pair's job

We are looking for a relaxed and happy person to be a big sister to our two girls. You'll get a car to drive, a cosy home and English lessons if you would like them (in case you need to pass an English exam). On weekday mornings we'll need help getting the children ready for school and nursery as well as dropping them off. Then pick them up afterwards and keep them entertained until we get home. We'll need some help cooking a healthy meal for them but we are usually back by 5PM in time for their tea. When we are home from work you are free to do what you want :) We will usually do bedtime for the girls, so when we are back from work, your evening is your own. Andy is a keen cook and usually makes a healthy meal which you are welcome to join us for. During the school holidays we hope for an extra couple of days help and we usually take extra time off work. This is also a good time for you to explore our country more if you want to. We will expect a little help with housework, just to help us keep the house clean and tidy. There may be some evenings of babysitting to do, although we usually won't need this. Paddy our dog will need a short walk in the afternoons.
