We are a busy family living in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. It is only 20mins from central London by train. Our house is basically surrounded by parks which makes the area very quiet and perfect for jogging, playing and enjoying nature. Yet the shopping area and cafes are only 5mins walk down the road. There is a college nearby which provides English courses. I myself work in education and would love to help anyone who is keen on improving their English. There also is a leisure centre close by so if you fancy a swim or a gym you could pay them a visit. Lea Valley park provides us with excellent opportunities for walks around the lakes, canoeing, white water rafting, climbing, sailing... If you like exercise there's plenty of opportunities to be outdoors. We love camping, walks, reading, going to the movies, the boys are learning piano and guitar. I love to cook but hardly get time to do it properly..Me and my husband work five to six day per week. We also have a cat (Play) and a puppy (Hannah) so the person who decides to join us would need to be happy to be around animals. We don't live in a fancy house but there is plenty of space for everyone to have their own time. I have been aupair myself quite a few years ago so I know how hard it can be for someone to take this step especially if you don't know anyone around. I am also aware that the money an au-pair gets are not that much and any young person who loves to travel and explore could use some extra cash.. so I would love to recommend you to local families for babysitting and childcare over the holidays.. We
The person who decides to join us would be dropping off and collecting two of my boys to and from school (10 mins walk). My youngest boy travels to school with me at this moment. It would be great if the aupair could help with a bit of cooking and tidying up. An evening with the kids now and then, maybe twice a month, would be awesome. We haven't got any help with raising our children so far so it would be fantastic if me and my husband could start going out a bit.. That's on the whole really. I personally don't believe in CVs and all sorts of other letters people ask for.. I believe in connections and being honest and kind to each other. Looking forward to hearing from you awesome people out there!
