I'm a single parent that shares joint custody of a 11yr boy. I work in financial services (Banking) and require an Au pair mainly for the school runs for a couple of days a week and for the school holidays. My son is an intelligent, independent boy and is relatively self sufficient. His current Au pair is Spanish.
We live in west London - close to Heathrow Airport. I currently have a Spanish Au pair who will be finishing her rotation with us shortly and need to find a suitable replacement. The Au pair has the full time use of a car (Audi TT). I do require someone who is a very confident and good driver as the main responsibility will be the school run. You must be a very good driver with at least 5 years recent driving experience. The role will offer the Au Pair a relative amount of time off, as my son is with me for a couple of days in the week and alternate weekends. Additionally (although there might be the odd exception) the Aupair will not be required to work on the weekends. I will also be willing to facilitate an English course for the appropriate candidate with a local college. The main responsibility of the position will be to take my son to school and pick him up afterwards. His school is approx 5 miles away and a car is provided. The Au pair will also be required to provide him with some assistance with homework (including Spanish) and a meal after school. Responsibilities will also include the occasional shopping trip, and light housekeeping.
