We are a family living in the heart of London and we are looking for someone to come and work with us to help look after our 4 year old daughter Uma, our 2 year old son Leo and do some household duties for 6+ months. We are expecting our third child at the end of January so we need an extra pair of hands to help alongside me, a full time mother but with my own business. We are a friendly family and are looking for someone who will fit in and be willing to help and most of all for someone who loves working with children, and who is responsible and sensible. We have a good day to day routine in London but we with a third child soon to arrive, we need someone to support with nursery runs, playing with children, supporting me with the baby and general household chores like cooking for kids, children's laundry etc. Accommodation: We would provide you with a newly decorated double bedroom and ensuite shower room and toilet. The house is a 4 bedroom house with a playroom and reception room, kitchen and small garden. We live in Shepherd's Bush, West London. We are 5 minute walk from Shepherd's Bush Market underground.
Hours and salary: We would like an au pair / mother's help who will work 25 hours a week with an additional 2 nights a week babysitting (which might include the weekends) and we would be looking to pay a weekly amount of £125 (food will be covered as an extra) and this will be reviewed throughout employment. Timings may vary but will usually be approx. 7.30-9am and 3-7pm and sometimes hours will change slightly. We do not normally require help from Friday-Sunday, however, we would be looking for someone who would be flexible, for example, would be happy to occasionally work at weekends. Examples of duties: -Looking after Uma and Leo: Playing in the garden/playroom with toys, doing arts and crafts, taking them to the park, museums and play groups, role play with them. - Taking them to and from nursery. -Some cooking for the children - We do not expect you to be a cleaner but we would expect you to help with light housework - keep a tidy bedroom and bathroom, wash up after yourself and the kids, tidy away toys after playing, keep kids rooms tidy and taking initiative if there is a mess e.g sweep kitchen floor after kids tea. -Washing of kids clothes and ironing bits and pieces
