The family from Prague (Czech Republic, EU) is looking for an au pair About us: Young family (mother 35 – medical doctor, father 40 – university professor) 2 sons (3 and 5 years), newborn baby in February 2018 dog (Labrador, 4 years) We live in a spacious apartment in Prague, a short walk from the metro station Start at December 2017 / January 2018 We require: Languages: English at communicative level, Spanish as native language, other languages advantage Reliability, experience of working with children, good relationship with children Good references Non-smoker, No Drugs Long-term contract: 12 - 24 months First Aid training Optional: Playing a musical instrument Driving license Can swim/ride a bike/play sports
Working with children - about 25 hours a week 1) In the morning take the kids to the kindergarten (5 min. from the house), in the afternoon (3 PM) pick up and take care of them until 5-6 PM, once weekly babysit in the evening, weekends by arrangement. 2) Communicating with children in a foreign language, playing games, reading books, escorting to afternoon lessons. 3) Two days per week take care of a newborn baby (5 hours), when mother goes work to the hospital, occasionally little help with the newborn on other days 4) Occasionally walk the dog 5) A little bit of cooking (mostly warm up or microwave?). Taking care of apartment - about 10 hours a week 1) Small daily cleaning (2 hours / week) 2) 1 bigger cleaning per week (wipe the floor and the dust, clean the bathroom and kitchen, …) (4 hours) 3) Maintain order in the children's room (tidy up toys, … ) and kitchen 4) 2x weekly ironing (1 hour)
