Dear au pair, We are a family of 5, mum and dad, our 2 energetic boys (aged 1 and 3) and our labrador dog. My husband is Australian and I'm French. We fell in love 6 years ago in Australia and got married few months ago in France. Our family lives in a quiet area in Lansvale in Sydney region. We live in a nice big house. We are very lucky to have a big enough backyard for the children to play. This is pretty rare in Sydney region. We also have an inground pool. Bus stop is 5 minutes walk away and the train station 30 minutes walk from our house. It takes 40 minutes by train to go to Sydney CBD. My husband and I own a mobile amusement rides and games business. We do a lot of carnivals, school fetes, religious events, corporation events, festivals, concerts... and more, in Sydney region and sometimes further. We offer our services for any type of events. Our children have been around our work since they were born. Our oldest child will go to daycare once a week from February 2018. We don't spend a lot of time at home due to our work but also because we like going out. We love travelling. Just this year we spent 2 weeks in Western Australia, 3 months in France and for our honeymoon, my husband and I just came back from Thailand. The boys are used to travelling. They are full of energy and joy and will take all of your time. They are also very sweet and sociable. Everyone loves them and so far who ever had to babysitting them in the past says they are adorable and easy going, easy to entertain.
We are looking for an easy-going, friendly, responsible and mature au pair who will provide good care to our children and become part of our family. We hope to find an au pair who will enjoy playing with our children and helping them learn, and who is genuinely interested in them (for example, what they are doing, and their safety and well-being). As it becomes hard to keep our children entertained at work and work at the same time, at home or outside on site, we need help from you to look after them and keep them entertained. Our work timetable is very irregular. With us you will be able to decide to stay at home with the kids or come with us at work as our children like going on rides and play games too. You can also have fun with them there. Because of our work again, you will also be able to visit few different places of Sydney region and sometimes outside the state. We will consider you as a member of the family and when off work, taking you with us to different activities and holidays if you like. We will be happy to give you any information needed during your stay in Australia. We are looking for a French fille au pair for our 2 little boys to learn French. My parents (who live in France) do not speak English, this is why it is essential for our children to know how to speak French in the future. They do know and understand French as we go to France once a year. From February to June this year, we welcomed my sister and a french couple (my mum's friend's daughter and her boyfriend) that we hadn't met before. They didn't come here to babysit the boys. They contacted me to come and stay at our home to visit Australia, improve their English and work with us. They did babysit the boys few times. I thought it was a great idea to have 4 french people (included me) to communicate in french with the boys. It turned out everything went well between us all and regarding living together at home. During their stay we took them almost everywhere around Sydney, to Melbourne (driving there), to Western Australia and to Gold Coast. My sister even had the time to go to Tasmania. They were all very happy of their stay in Australia.
