We are a lively bilingual family of three - I am an American who has been in Europe now for almost 10 years, my husband is German and our 7 year old is a bit of a mix of both. We live in a lovely old home just outside of the Milan city center and have a large private garden that we also share with our dog and cat. I work in insurance here in Milan and travel on average 2x per month and my husband is a chef who works a few times per month in Nice, France - and is as such a wonderful cook! We are looking for someone to become part of our family while with us and enjoy with us as we also learn about Milan and the surrounding areas.
We would like someone who speaks fluent English, and either German or Italian. The job would entail picking my son up in the early afternoons from school, helping him with homework, taking him to lessons once a week and keeping him entertained until 7pm when I return home. Very light housekeeping or errands such as helping him clean his room and walking our dog once a day , and potentially staying with him one evening per week. In exchange we can offer a private room, the possibility to join us on any weekend travel or excursions, and of course some fantastic cooked meals from my husband! With a valid license there is also the potential to use our car as needed.
