Hi there, we are a fun young family looking for an au pair to come and stay with us. We have two young girls who are playful and fun to be around (ages 2 & 6). Our eldest is at school in year 2 and loves going. She dances, sings and loves playing with her friends. Our 2 year old daughter is cheeky and adventurous. She is a lot of fun. My husband and I both work from home with occasional work trips away but never together. We love our home and family but work very hard and need some additional help. My husband is Icelandic and I am British. My mother is Turkish but also speaks fluent french and is currently teaching it to the Children.We live in a town in Cambridgeshire called St Neots. We are easily accessible to London living only 5 minutes from the train station and London can be accessed in 50 minutes. We also live a 25 minute drive / bus from the historic town of Cambridge. St Neots is a pretty town with shops, bars, restaurants and many open spaces. There are language courses in Cambridge, Bedford, Huntingdon and Peterborough all within very easy access from our home. We lead a busy life but we always try to be around for our children as much as possible. The girls do regular activities and play dates. Everything is within easy access from our home.
We are looking for someone to help at home with the Children, mainly after school until the evening. This would include taking the children to school / nursery in the morning (5 minute walk away) and getting them ready and collecting from school in the afternoon. We would require the Au pair to look after the children after school helping prepare them some dinner and playing with them. We would also like the Au Pair to do some light household chores like tidying the children rooms, helping empty the dishwasher and laundry. Occasional babysitting would be required in the evening maybe once to twice a week. We are a really lovely family who are warm, welcoming and fun to be with. We are open and honest and would welcome our au pair to be like that too. We will help as much as we can with finding a college and friends. We live in a big housing estate with open parks and many many families so you will no doubt meet lots of people.
