Dad is an engineer and mum, a teacher. We love having friends round and meeting new people. We think having an au pair at home could be a really enriching experience for us all. We live in Tortosa, a small city near El Delta de l'Ebre and Els Ports, and an hour from Tarragona and 2 hours from Barcelona. We live in a house with garden and swimming pool. It's very close to nice mountains and 10' walk from downtown and train station. Beach is 25' by train. We love sports and the area is great for outdoor sports. School is 10' walk from home. Our kids like doing sport too. They also like singing songs, playing games and love listening to stories. They understand English very well and are able to speak some words and short sentences too.
We would like her to help us with our everyday routine: meals, playing with kids, showers, walking them to school... As we expect her to communicate just in English, we think we could all improve our English skills. Besides, but only if possible, we would like her to do the cleaning in exchange of money. We are very flexible so we are sure we could perfectly respect and understand one another. We would like her to feel one more in our family so we'll do our best for her to fit in. We have a separate studio with its own bathroom (shower, toilet and basin) and magnificent views. There is a very comfy double bed, a table and a chair and shelves and wardrobes. Our kids' school is open to families. So if the au-pair was interested in participating either to help or to learn herself, she could volunteer there a lot!
