We are looking for a happy, proactive au pair, someone who loves children and the countryside. We are a family of 5, with William, 9; Imogen, 7 and baby Eliza, nearly 1. We live in a big house in a small village. It is a fantastic area where there are lots of wonderful activities and things to do. It feels rural, but yet we are very close to London and Oxford too. We like music, gardening, movies, cooking... We need someone trustworthy, organized, reliable and proactive, with a sense of fun who will enjoy playing with our children and helping with the baby, as well as helping with school runs. We would like a responsible driver for a manual car (NOT automatic), preferably with a few years of driving experience to help with the school runs. We would provide you with some driving lessons to get you used to driving on the left.
I will need your help for approx 5 hours a day during the week An hour or so in the morning during the week to help with breakfast time and getting the children ready for school. As the children are at separate schools, I will need your help with the school run, driving one of the children to school. I will need your help again from 3.30-7.30pm when the children come back from school, either with the older two or with the baby, and helping clean and tidy up. We might ask you to babysit 2-3 times a week. You will have the weekends to yourself unless by exceptional prior arrangement, for example babysitting. You will have the use of a car. We will provide you with a mobile phone contract.
