I am 56 years old. I am not looking for an au-pair to look after children, I am looking for a person who can look after my moteher age of 84. My father past away last July and my mother can not stay at home alone whole day. Me and my brother look after her now but we are both working whole day. My mother is not ill, it's just her feet are not so good. Nothing else is wrong with her. We just can't leave her all by herself because of the risk she can fall.
First of all, help her to take a shower and get dressed. Give her breakfast, she does not cook so much now. Take her out for a drive a little bit, she has a car but she is not driving anymore. Help her to bed when she want to take a nap, which is every day. Keep the house clean, I am not talking about clean the walls or windows just a normal easy cleaning. Take care of laundry, wich is not very much. She lives in her own one floor house with a beautiful garden and she don't want to leave the house because she and my father built it thogether years ago, so it's very personal to her. I am going to live there myself and take care of her after work.
