Hi, we are a very horsey family looking for someone to fill in the gaps we have a cute little cottage next to our 3 bedroom home at 10 Eleven Mile Dr Bathurst that is waiting for the right person to help us. My life partner Paul Theobald is a race horse trainer. We retrain our retired horses and compete with them in Vaulting, eventing, pony club and Western riding. I am Anna Blackburn. I run a saddlery in Bathurst and am a super busy mum. Max and Katherine are both horsey and play Piano. Max does Karate and Kat a gymnast. Both have to be the nicest kids in the world. We don't use computer games at home because our life is more exciting than any game.
A day in life of an au pair would start at 6am. We would all help out with the horses at about 6:30am. At the racing stable on the property you would either ride a horse or feed and muck out. Then either take kids to school by driving them a short distance or help them to the bus. Our work with the horses finishes at 10-11am. You would then do a bit of housekeeping or farm duties. Have a little lunch then in the afternoon either drop kids to various sports in car or help put away the horses in their stables and feed them. Every week you would go to a difference town or city to the races and on weekends travel with our family to competitions. If this sounds like the life for you and you can cope with $120 per week plus room and board and car use, contact us.
