We are a friendly, outgoing family living in London. We are about 20 minutes from the centre of London, near Hampstead (North London). We are looking for someone who is reliable and speaks good English with mature and responsible attitude in helping our busy family. We need the au pair from END OF AUGUST (not flexible) We are a family with three children. Our life is very busy with school, sport, kids activities and work. Our daughter is 2 years old and visits a local Montessori nursery every day from 9am to 3pm. She is easy handling and very social and funny. She loves nursery rhymes or walking around the house. The responsibility here will be to mainly collect her from nursery and keep her busy in the afternoon. Our son is 8. He is very independent, reliable and charming and has a big circle of friends and loves football, Lego, reading or just having fun. The role is to ensure he does is homework, and chores. Our 2nd daughter is 7. She is very girly and loves art & craft. The role is to ensure she does her homework and chores. You would have your own private room and share the bathroom with the children.
You would have your own private room and share the bathroom with the chil We will need you for up to 30 hours a week - less in term-time but more during school holidays. You will be required to do 1.5 hours in the morning to help primarily the two older ones to get them ready for school, and drop them off. In the afternoon you pick them up 2 times a week at 4.30pm, the others days at 3.20pm from the local infant school. The infant school is 5 minutes from the house. Our little one will be picked up at 3pm - the nursery is around 15 mins walk. Outside those times you are free. You will look after the kids until we are back from work around 6.30pm. A typical day would be helping the older kids do homework, and playing with the younger one. Either myself or my husband would be around 20 minutes away to help if there are any problems. We would also need you to babysit for 1 night per week. Other chores will be preparing dinner sometimes and ensuring the children do their homework (mainly English, Maths and Art&Craft). We have a cleaner who comes once a week but you will be expected to keep the house tidy and clean. We are looking for someone with experience of young children, who is energetic, caring, cheerful, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, tidy and a non smoker, and who can commit to stay for an ideal minimum of 6 months.
