Dear Au Pair, We are a family of 5, Mum, Dad, our two boys and baby girl, Callum (9), Cian (6) and Zoe(4). We are looking for an au pair to look after our 3 kids over the summer period from 15-July thru 31 August (we are flexible on exact dates). We are an easy going family, Mum is from New Zealand, Dad is from Ireland and all three of our children were born in Luxembourg. We speak English in the house but our children speak Luxembourgish, French and some German. We live in a small village (3000 people), about 20-25 minutes from Luxembourg city. A regular bus/train service is available to the city all day long. At weekends, a special free ‘late night’ bus from the city operates. There is also a train station. In our village we have a park, playgrounds, tennis courts, small shop and gas station, 6 restaurants, pharmacy, shops, We like to spend time outside as much as possible, so days out in the country, sightseeing, swimming pools, etc. is always on the agenda. Our kids are active and 90% of the time are happy playing or learning new things (Callum goes to music classes each week, and there are Guitars in the house). Very simple....like kids! Easy going. You will have lots of free time, so we hope you use it to explore Lux and the surrounding countries when you're not hanging out with us.
