Hi! We live in a small town in the South West of England - it is in the countryside and has a library and shops; the nearest big city is Bath and Bristol is about an hour away. We are friendly and easy going and looking for someone similar who is happy to live in a small town and is independent and confident enough to explore and make friends. There is a local college a bus ride away in Street which is a good place to meet people. There is a train station in Yeovil and you can get to London from there. You have your own room and lots of personal space but you can also join in with us if you want. We like camping, swimming and having days out. We need you to be good fun but also firm and clear when setting boundaries. You will cook simple meals and keep the house clean and tidy during the week. The children are very independent in lots of ways but still need nurture and care. We will look after you and you will look after us! We are only looking for genuine au pairs from the EU or with a valid visa.
You will take 2 children to and from school 4 days a week and be there for the biggest boy when he comes back from school. You will make breakfast for the kids, their packed lunches and their supper. When they get home from school you will play with them and help them with their piano practice and homework. Sometimes you will babysit in the evening or at the weekend. Because I am a teacher, you will often have Friday to Sunday and the school holidays off to explore and enjoy your time here in England. If I need extra babysitting I will ask in advance.
