Please check your visa requirements for traveling to NZ as some countries only have 3 and 6 month limits.*** How are you going in your search for a family? We are looking for an Au Pair to start in July. Our current Au Pair is coming to the end of he contract and heading home to start her university studies. Jarred works as a Lawyer and I work part time in insurance. Our two girls are aged 3 and 1. We are semi rural and have a one hectare section with a handful of friendly animals. It is still only 10 mins to the shops or 25 mins to the main city centre. Whangarei is the northern most city in New Zealand and so has the best summers and warmer winters than the rest of NZ. There are lots of great places to discover within an hour or two drive. Auckland, the biggest city is only two and a half hours away and we go there quite often. We would love an Au Pair to be part of the family and be like a big sister to the kids.
Monday, Tuesday and Fridays you will have the kids from about 9 in the morning til about 4 in the afternoon. Wednesdays and Thursdays we go with the flow. Amelie has Swimming and Ballet on Weds so one of us will take the kids out and the other give the house a quick spruce up. Often Thursdays I will work outside in the garden or with the animals. We share cooking and housework as you would living with flatmates and all just pitch in with most things. But don't worry, I will do the bathroom and toilet!
