We are a "young 5 people family" looking for an opportunity to enhance our experience and learn something new by hosting an au pair for almost a year. My wife and I work in IT consultancy for large companies. We speak a little bit of English, just for business purpose. Two of our kids, who attend primary school, know only few words in English. Since our main goal is to practice and improve our English (my wife and I) and to make our children learn English almost from scratch, we'd like to host someone who is English mother tongue. Then there is the "last one", who's almost one year old and who's learning her first words in Italian :) We live in a nice home in a very beautiful city. When possible, we like to live outdoors and exploring this city.
Your "working time" will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, from Monday to Friday. You should go get the youngest child from school, that is a few hundred yards from home. Two or three times a week, depending on the children's school commitments, you must arrange an happy English lesson (with games, songs, etc.). In the rest of time, you'll help the children in their homework, if needed (even if they are quite good). Sometimes, you will have to accompany kids to the swimming-pool, near our home. You will attend to clean your single bedroom and we will ask you a little help for standard housework.
