Personal introduction

I want to become an au pair because I enjoy being around children and would love the opportunity to contribute positively to a family's daily life. I see this experience as more than just travelling to another country; it is an opportunity to become part of a family, learn about a different culture, share my own Kenyan culture, and develop valuable life skills. I am responsible, patient, adaptable and willing to learn. I understand that caring for children requires attention, understanding, respect and commitment. I would enjoy helping with their daily routines, engaging them in fun and educational activities, and creating a safe and supportive environment for them. I also look forward to improving my language skills, experiencing life in another country and building meaningful relationships. Most importantly, I hope to make a positive contribution to my host family while growing personally and culturally through this experience.
