Personal introduction

Dear Host Family, My name is Zeira Jean. I am 20 years old, single, and have completed Senior High School. I have certificates in Complete Guide to First Aid by Heart2Heart and Healthy Routines for Little Ones: Sleep, Meals and Daily Flow in Care Settings. I am also currently studying the Swedish language. I am a positive, kind, flexible, adaptable, and emotionally mature person who can multitask and handle responsibilities well. I am working as a nanny and housemaid. I have been working with children since August 2024 and currently take care of three children, aged 6, 7, and 9. They are wonderful, kind, and adorable children, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. In my current position as a housemaid and nanny, my duties and responsibilities include: • Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the house, including the kitchen. • Cleaning countertops, organizing cupboards, and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen appliances. • Washing, drying, and putting away dishes. • Washing, drying, and ironing clothes. • Changing bed linens and making beds. • Tidying bedrooms, living areas, and other parts of the house. • Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste properly. • Cleaning the bathroom. • Checking the pantry and refrigerator and disposing of expired food. • Dusting and polishing furniture and household equipment. • Sorting and organizing clothing and other household items. • Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. • Preparing lunch boxes for the children and helping them get ready for school. • Buying small groceries. • Taking care of the children and assisting them with dressing, bathing, eating, and their daily needs. • Reading with the children and helping them with their homework. • Taking the children to the park, zoo, and other activities. • Enjoying activities such as bike riding, arts and crafts, games, and educational activities in a fun and engaging way. • Supporting the children's interests and hobbies. • Tidying and organizing the children's play areas. • Taking care of pets. I currently live and work in my home country, and I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in Europe. I hope to build a strong and trusting relationship with your family and become someone you can always rely on. I will respect your home, your family, and your routines. I would also be happy to teach your children English if you would like me to. I value trust, hard work, kindness, and open communication. I believe that becoming an au pair will not only give me the opportunity to gain more experience in childcare and family life, but will also allow me to build meaningful relationships with people from different cultures and bring those experiences back to my home country.
