Personal introduction

I want to become an au pair because I see this experience as a wonderful opportunity to combine my love for children, my interest in cultural exchange, and my dream of experiencing everyday life in Türkiye. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I like playing with them, listening to their stories, reading books together, helping them with simple activities, and encouraging them to discover new things. I believe children need not only someone who looks after them, but also someone who is patient, caring, positive, and willing to listen to them. I would love to be someone they can feel comfortable and safe around. For me, being an au pair is much more than simply living abroad or travelling. I want to become part of a family, understand their daily routines, share experiences, and build a genuine relationship based on trust and respect. I would be happy to help with the children's daily activities and become a responsible and caring person they can rely on. One of the main reasons I am interested in Türkiye is because I am very curious about Turkish culture and everyday life. I would love to experience the country not only as a tourist, but by actually living with a Turkish family and seeing how people live, communicate, celebrate traditions, prepare food, and spend time together. At the same time, I would love to introduce my host family to Indonesian culture, food, traditions, and stories from my country. I think this exchange would be meaningful for both sides. I am also very interested in learning Turkish. I know that living in Türkiye would give me many opportunities to practice the language naturally every day. I would like to attend a Turkish language course if possible and gradually become more confident communicating with people around me. I am also happy to help children practice English through conversations, reading, songs, games, and everyday activities. Another reason I want to become an au pair is that I want to grow as a person. Living in another country will teach me to become more independent, responsible, adaptable, and open-minded. I know that being away from home can sometimes be challenging, but I am ready to learn from the experience and communicate openly when I need help or when something is unfamiliar to me. I understand that every family has its own routines, expectations, and way of doing things. I am willing to learn and adapt while also communicating honestly and respectfully. I believe a good relationship between an au pair and a host family should be based on mutual respect, trust, kindness, and open communication. I hope to find a host family where I can feel welcomed and respected, while also giving my best to the children and the family. I would love to create happy memories together, learn from each other, and become a positive part of the children's daily lives. For me, the most meaningful part of being an au pair would be knowing that I have made a positive difference in a child's life while also experiencing a new culture and growing through the journey myself. I am excited about the possibility of starting this new chapter in Türkiye and hopefully finding a family with whom I can share a warm, respectful, and memorable experience.
