Personal introduction

Hello host family, My name is Faith, I am 22 years old from Nigeria, currently living in Nigeria. I am very kind, caring, patient, attentive, organized, outdoorsy and responsible. I love spending time with children, interacting with them, I love planning creative and fun activities, helping with home work and playing outdoor games. Most of my childcare experience comes from my family. I have 4 younger siblings and 1 older sibling. I grew up living with my siblings so I naturally took care of most of my younger siblings especially the youngest one who is now 12 years old. Taking care of my youngest brother taught me lots of patience and creativity because I had to keep him entertained and safe. I helped with his basic everyday activities like changing his diaper, feeding him, reading to him, playing with him, putting him down for naps, helping with his laundry, Changing his clothes, bathing him and also helping with his home work. I also helped babysit my little cousins who are now 2 and 5 years old. These experiences have made me comfortable and confident in caring for children of different ages. I am very good with using a sewing machine and I am happy to help with light household chores and cooking. I am choosing to become an aupair because it comes the two things I love doing which are spending time with children and learning new things. I want to experience a new culture deeply while also sharing my own vibrant Nigerian heritage.
