Personal introduction

Dear Host Family, My name is Abigail, I am 19 years old from Zambia. I want to become an Au Pair because I genuinely love children and I love to care for them. For the past 4 years I have been caring for my younger siblings and helping in our Sunday school class with children aged 2 to 7. Being with children makes me patient, happy and responsible. I want to join your family not just to work, but to become like a big sister to your children. I want to learn about culture, and share my Zambian culture with you as well — our food, our music, our respect for family. I am a kind, honest, hardworking and God-fearing girl. I am good at keeping children safe, helping with homework, cooking simple meals, and keeping the house tidy. I respect rules and I will treat your children with love as if they were my own family. My dream is to study and grow in the future, and being an Au Pair in Germany will help me learn independence, responsibility and a new language.
