Personal introduction

I would love to become an au pair because it combines many things that are important to me: spending time with children, experiencing a new culture, and living abroad while becoming part of a family's everyday life. I have always enjoyed being around children. I come from a big family with many younger children between the ages of 3 and 12, so I am very comfortable taking care of kids of different ages. Growing up with them has taught me to be patient, responsible, and creative, and I genuinely enjoy playing with children, helping them learn, and supporting them in their daily routines. Traveling and experiencing new cultures has always been a dream of mine. I also lived abroad as a child, which gave me an appreciation for meeting new people and adapting to different environments. I would love the opportunity to experience life in another country again, improve my language skills, and learn even more about a new culture from a local family's perspective. I speak English fluently and also have basic knowledge of both French and Spanish. Living with a host family would allow me to strengthen these language skills while building meaningful relationships and gaining valuable life experience. For me, becoming an au pair is much more than just a job. It is a chance to support a family, create lasting memories with their children, and grow both personally and professionally during my gap year. I am excited about the opportunity to become a reliable, caring, and positive part of a family's daily life while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
