Personal introduction
From a young age I have loved being around children. I believe kids teach us joy, patience, and how to see the world with wonder. For me, being an au pair is not just a job. It’s about becoming part of a family and being a “big sister” who can help, encourage, and create happy memories with your children. I want to support you as parents and give your children a safe, loving, and fun environment to grow in.
I am also deeply drawn to the idea of cultural exchange. I would love the opportunity to live in another country to experience your daily life, traditions, and beautiful country first-hand. In return, I would be honored to share my Zimbabwean and South African culture, food, stories, and warmth with your family. I believe we can learn so much from each other.
This experience is also important for my personal growth. I am ready to become more independent, to challenge myself in a new country, and to grow in responsibility, time management, and communication. I am hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn. I see this year as a chance to step out of my comfort zone and come back with new skills, language, and lifelong friendships.
Most of all, my reason is heart. I want to be needed. I want to be someone your children look forward to seeing after school. I want to be the person who helps with homework, makes pancakes on Saturday, and listens when they need to talk. I want to be a “keeper” for your family this season
