Personal introduction

Dear Host Family, My name is Camilla, I am 19 years old, and I come from Padua, a city in the north of Italy. I recently finished high school, and I’m now taking some time to explore new experiences and figure out what path I’d like to take for my future. I would describe myself as a positive, curious, and creative person who loves art, music, cinema, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I also enjoy going for long walks, cooking, and learning new languages. I would love to become an Au Pair because I see it as a wonderful opportunity to learn new things, grow personally, and experience life within a different culture. I’m excited about the idea of living in a new country, discovering its way of life, and sharing meaningful moments with your family while helping out in your daily routines. I really enjoy spending time with children. I love their creativity, energy, and curiosity, and I enjoy supporting them in everyday activities, playing, learning, and sharing fun experiences together. At the same time, I see this experience as more than just childcare—it is a way to connect, learn from each other, and build a positive and welcoming atmosphere in your home. I consider myself calm, patient, and respectful. I am also responsible, reliable, and empathetic, always trying to understand the needs of others and adapt to new situations. Creativity is an important part of who I am, and I love involving children in arts, crafts, music, and other engaging activities that help them express themselves.
