Personal introduction

? My name is Pauline, and I am currently working as an au pair in Ireland. Unfortunately, it has not been the right match with my host family here – not because of them, but because of the environment. I live in a very rural area, where there is not much to do, and during my free time I often felt a bit stuck and limited. Since I come from Hamburg, I realized that I feel happier and more comfortable in a livelier environment. I have always enjoyed working with children. For several years, I regularly did babysitting, and I also completed a few weeks of internship in a primary school. Through these experiences, I learned how to support children with homework, play creative games, and organize fun activities and outings. What matters most to me is creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel happy and can grow. I would describe myself as open, reliable, and creative. I like to be part of family life, caring for the children, joining activities, and helping with household tasks in a good balance.
