Personal introduction

Hello dear host family! My name is Stefano, I’m 24 and from Sardinia, Italy. I'm currently looking for a meaningful experience abroad, and becoming an au pair seems like a perfect opportunity to grow, give, and learn at the same time. I consider myself mature, curious, and responsible. I’ve learned that challenges are part of growth, and I try to see life with the right perspective. I value communication, mutual respect, and I always look for solutions, not problems. I live with my parents; my sister lives nearby with her boyfriend. My mom is a housewife, my dad works in a refinery. I graduated from a technical institute and decided not to attend university, preferring a more practical path. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, exploring nature, and playing games. I’m energetic when inspired, but I also appreciate quiet time to recharge and stay centered with myself. Even though I don’t have certified experience with children, I love spending time with them and I’m eager to learn how to take care of them properly. I’ve worked with many types of people and know how to adapt and connect. My native language is Italian, and I speak English at an intermediate-advanced level. I’ve improved it through school, music, video games, YouTube, and working online. I’m confident I can keep learning and communicating well. I’m looking for a host family that shares my values and is open to building a real bond. I would love to be part of your everyday life, support your routine, and share this journey together with enthusiasm. I’m also working towards becoming an entrepreneur and investor. While chasing that dream, I want to challenge myself, get out of my comfort zone, and experience life in a new culture. I believe this is the perfect moment to do it. I’d need a few hours per week to continue my online work (around 4–5 hours/day, 3–4 times a week), and I hope to have some flexibility to explore and enjoy the experience fully, always fulfilling my au pair duties. I eat everything, but I prefer healthy, natural food and avoid processed meals or too much sugar. I’m easy-going and respectful of the family lifestyle and habits.
