**Hello, dear host family!**
My name is Ana, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Spain. I was born in Astorga, a small town in the north of Spain, but I’ve been living in León for the past four years while studying for my degree in Early Childhood Education. Last year, I did my first teaching internship in Italy through Erasmus, which deepened my passion for working with young children and immersed me in a culture I loved from the very first moment. Back home, I also completed my second internship in a preschool in León, where I gained hands-on experience with children aged 3 to 6.
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I grew up as the youngest of two siblings in a close, supportive family, and we have a lovely cat. Since I was little, I’ve loved staying active: years of ballet classes and my experience on the swimming team taught me discipline, creativity, and how to have fun while learning. I’m naturally curious, cheerful, and caring, and I take pride in being organized and dependable. You’ll often find me with a smile, ready for the next adventure—or the next game!
**My experience with children**
During my internships, I planned and led activities such as crafts, story time, singing, and outdoor games. I truly enjoy finding ways to spark children’s imagination and help them feel safe and inspired.
**My motivation**
I want to fully immerse myself in your culture and care for your children with dedication and love, while also significantly improving my English. This position perfectly combines my passion for early childhood education with the opportunity to grow and learn in a family environment.
**My expectations**
* To integrate smoothly into your family’s routine, as a trusted member of your home.
* Clear guidelines about daily responsibilities to help me stay organized.
* Time to practice English and occasional short trips or outings.
* Open and respectful communication to ensure we’re always on the same page.
This is my final year of university, and I am available for a full year, starting in September (with flexible dates).
If you’re looking for a warm, responsible, and creative au pair who will bring joy to your home and is genuinely eager to improve her English while caring for your children, I’d love to hear from you!
