Personal introduction
My name is Rocío, and I am 17 years old, currently living in Madrid, Spain. I am finishing the International Baccalaureate program and will begin studying international relations and economics at university after the summer. I’m a creative, energetic, and open-minded person who loves connecting with new people, learning about different cultures, and working with children.
Having lived abroad in the United States, Ireland, and England with wonderful host families, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for cultural exchange and the joy of becoming part of a new family. These experiences taught me adaptability, respect, and the importance of meaningful connections—qualities I’m excited to bring to my role as an au pair. I would describe myself as an active, creative, and open-minded individual who thrives on building connections and taking on new experiences. I am naturally empathetic and enjoy supporting others, whether through meaningful conversations, shared activities, or lending a helping hand when needed. I am quite extroverted and enjoy meeting new people.
Adaptability is one of my strongest traits, shaped by the many changes in my life, such as attending different schools and living abroad. These experiences taught me how to navigate new environments with ease and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
I am also highly energetic and love staying engaged with activities that inspire me.
While I enjoy being active and social, I value moments of reflection, often found in books or meaningful interactions. My friends and family describe me as approachable, dependable, and someone who brings positive energy wherever I go.
