Dear Host Family My name is Signe Sparby, a 22-year-old from Finnmark, Norway. I am excited about the opportunity to live and work with a wonderful family like yours! I love spending time with children and believe I can bring positivity, fun, and a helping hand to your home. I grew up in a loving environment, surrounded by supportive people who taught me the value of kindness, respect, and teamwork. My family is small but close-knit, and I also have wonderful friends who share my love for laughter, active living, and good conversations. My Personality I consider myself a kind, reliable, and cheerful person. I love laughing and finding joy in the little things. I am also organized, responsible, and hardworking, which helps me stay on top of my tasks. My Education I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, and Leadership. My studies have helped me understand people better and work effectively as part of a team. While studying, I am eager to immerse myself in a new culture, gain new experiences, and further develop my skills. What I Do in My Free Time In my free time, I love staying active through strength training and walks or hikes. I am passionate about music, playing piano for over 13 years, and singing brings me joy. I also enjoy preparing healthy meals, spending time with family and friends, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. These activities keep me happy, balanced, and energized. My Experience with Kids I have worked as a school assistant for a year, helping a seven-year-old girl with special needs. This experience taught me patience, creativity, and how to adapt to different needs. I also have experience babysitting family friends’ children and supporting younger relatives. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, helping them learn, and creating fun and engaging moments. My Language Skills I speak fluent Norwegian and English, which I believe will help me communicate well with your family. I am also open to learning new languages or phrases to better connect with your family’s culture and daily life. My Motivation Becoming an au pair allows me to combine my love for children, cultural exchange, and personal growth.
