Personal introduction

Dear host family, I am interested in coming and joining as an Au pair in your family. I can help your family with household needs and childcare. I can start anytime and stay for a full Au pair contract. My name is Jamaica. Single. No kids. I am a live-in nanny and domestic worker to a couple who are easy-going, kind, and generous and who have two lovely girls and two boys, ages 5, 6, 8, and 9. The kids are well-behaved, energetic, affectionate, and fun. My duties and general responsibilities include: • Helping the family with household chores, such as dishwashing, taking out the garbage, stopping by the grocery store for a simple shop, helping with the laundry, and cleaning the house. Organizing bedrooms and living room. • Dropping the kids off at school in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon. • Preparing breakfast, lunch, or snacks. • Preparing the kids’ lunch boxes. • Help feed the kids. • Assist kids with school homework. • Helping the kids clean up their toys and their rooms. • Playing together - outdoors at the park or playground, indoors with toys or with crafts. • Preparing/making dinner for the family. • Occasionally helping to put kids to bed on nights when both parents are out for the evening. • Helping with the pets (puppies). I am a family-oriented, responsible, honest, loving, mature, and easy-going Au pair who genuinely likes children, who can provide a stimulating experience for your kids, like being outdoors, and who can ride a bike. I have never been living abroad before. It would be my first time if your family gave me a chance. I would like to be an Au pair by becoming part of my host family and taking care of children and household chores, and I would like to learn what it is like to live in another country and to get to know the rest of the country. I would like to learn about my host family's culture, customs, food, and language. When I return home, I will have gained many new skills and made new friends from around the world.
