Personal introduction

Dear Host Family. Hello. I’m Nao Hamasaki. I’m 26 years old. I live in Osaka with my parents. I have no siblings. My mother is my best confidante. I always talk to my mother about daily occurrences and worries. My father is a driver. He is my constant ally and always lets me do what I want to do. My strong point is that I can make efforts for anything and never give up. My co-workers often tell me that I’m hardworking. My weak point is that I’m shy. I can be nervous and unable to express myself well at first, but I will come out of my shell while spending time together. On my days off, I do things like watching movies on Netflix, taking a nap, relaxing at cafes, going out with my friends, going shopping, going on a trip, etc. I love traveling. I often go places different from usual and refresh my mind and body. I like BTS, so I often go to Korea on a trip. I would be happy if I could meet a host family with whom I can spend a good time together outside of work hours. My motivation for participating in the au pair program is that I have wanted to learn about foreign cultures since when I was a student, and that I also liked children and wanted to work with them. I thought that the au pair program, where I could experience these two things at the same time, would be perfect. After graduating from college, I worked at a nursery school for 5 years as a nursery teacher in Japan. During those 5 years, I was a homeroom teacher for children from 2 to 5 years old. In my relationships with children, I took good care of them by giving them lots of praise so that they could develop self-esteem and become confident in themselves. When children did something wrong, I tried to talk to them properly so that they could judge right and wrong by themself. I think that being a nursery teacher is a rewarding job because I can feel the growth of children every day. I have experience changing diapers, potty training, feeding, changing clothes, putting them to sleep, etc. I can be an au pair who can build a trusting relationship with the children and experience a lot of fun together. I also want to be someone that children can depend on with peace of mind when they are in trouble. I look forward to being involved in the growth of the children I meet in the au pair program.
