Personal introduction

Hi! I'm Alessia, an Italian 21yo girl that would really like to do this new experince and meet a kind family to share it with me:) I don't know what you're actually searching for in an Aupair, or what you'd like to know about me, but I've already written a little bit about me in the descriptions below, soooo I won't add a lot more here. Contact me without any commitment or fears :D ABOUT ME, MYSELF & I: What can I say about me? My friends would say that I'm an introvert girl and that's true! In fact, at first I might be a little bit shy, but then, as soon as I've realized where I am and what I have to do, I'm really cheerful and companionable. I love feeling at ease with the people I am with, discovering new infos about everything and observing how people interact with me - it's creepy saying it like that, but I didn't mean it, sorry and don't worry :) . Put more simply, I'm curious to discover different cultures and habits and to try them on my skin. I would add that I'm also a reflective and sympathetic person. I really like talking to someone about more deep topics and listen to how they think and see the things about that certain topic. Also I really like (and need!) to take some time just for myself, to recharge and to realize what I've overcome in a day, week, month and to ask myself what can I do to improve myself the next day. I really like to find the best way to protect my mental health and the one of the people around me. I'm really careful about how we all put our thoughts into words and how we express ourselves among the others and also towards ourselves. ABOUT MY FREE TIME: In my leisure time, I really adore going out for a walk alone or with a friend and breathe some fresh air. Also I really like reading a book in a quiet place and getting lost in its story and topics. Going out with my friends is something that I actually need during or at the end of the week, where I can take a break from everyday things and thoughts. We go out, at dinner or after dinner, or we just watch a film together. In addition, I like strumming my pianola (I taught myself a few chords) or sing some songs, 'cause I really like music, playing and singing. :) ABOUT MY EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE: In high school (ended 2020) I've studied languages, initially just because I was good at them, as school subjects. Then I realized that I really enjoy listening to and speaking English especially. I got the possibility to study it and then to practice it in different areas realizing that speaking this language it's easy and enjoyable for me. Sometimes I think that the real version of myself comes out when I use English.. and that's great for me; as if it would be the means of expression of my true self. :) Over time, I also realized the power that knowing English and every other language - and being able to use them - gives you: to interact with and discover other cultures, to expand your knowledge in all the areas you want and to express, in fact, yourself in a different way than usual. Anyway, after the diploma, I've worked in a transport company for 10 months, where I had the opportunity to practice the languages I studied (English, Spanish and German - B2, B1, B1.. but now I'm a bit ''out of training'' with the last two). Then I worked as waitress for a really short time, then in a clothing manufacturing company for 2 months ..aaand finally I started giving tutoring to help children with their homework, giving myself - in the meanwhile - some time to understand what I prefer and really like to do, what brings me satisfaction, self-confidence and allows me to learn lots of things about dealing with children and teenagers (I explain better this concept in the following paragraph) and also about me. :) MY EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS: Since 2021 I've been working as a tutor to help children and teens with their homework and I actually enojy doing it. It's an exchange of infos and lessons: you learn as they learn. :) I really like listening to their needs, making homework fun and to understand how can I help them with sweetness and patience, but also with strictness when the situation requires it. Furthermore, since 2020 I'm one of the animators in my parish. I organize activities and games, sometimes with a moral (a message to leave to them) in the end, with my collegues and friends. We basically create situations where children and teens can meet each other with their peers, not only having fun but also learning something through the activity, about themselves and the others, while having fun of course. I started with children at primary school. Now, instead, I follow a group of 20ish 12-years old-boys and girls every Thursday evening and this ''adventure'' allows me and my collegues-friends also to grow in many ways, from the public speaking skill to the authority to maintain sometimes, to the responsability to ''leave/pass something'' to someone younger than you. Also we are a bit friends and confidant for them, as if we were big brothers and sisters to them so that they can ask us for some help, if and when they need it in ''friendship and emotions spheres''. I reeeally like doing this activity. I think is my way. :) ABOUT LANGUAGES: I'm Italian, so I'm a native speaker of Italian. I studied English, Spanish and German in high school, but actually now I'm trying to maintain practiced just English above the others through listening to music, watching films etc.. I hope that everything I'm writing iis comprehensible, even though at the grammatic and lessical etc level I might not be a B2 level - I took it like 3.5 years ago. ;) When I was in high school my teachers organized 2 cultural exchanges with a high school in Grafing, Munich and then with another one in Potsdam, Berlin. We hosted our German partners for a week and travelled a bit to show them our nearest big cities, famous monuments etc. Then we went where they live and did the same. It was great! We had so much fun and was wonderful visiting and two beautiful experiences. :D In these occasions I tried to speak German, but I've never been that good at it, so I've been able to practice my English skills more than my German ones. WHY I WANT TO WORK AS AUPAIR: I want to do this experience because I think it might be very effective on my language and human spheres. :) Living in another place with another culture and habits may seem a bit scary, but I think that can make myself a better person, trying to understand the others' opinions and different habits of someone that has a different culture than mine. I want try this experience to get out of my confort zone, see myself in a total new situation, and make myself proud then to say: ''I did it. I wanted and it actually happend.'' Beyond the difficulties I might find and even if something goes not so well, I wanna think: ''At least I tried.'' ..AND MY EXPACTATIONS: My expectations? Well, I'd just really like to find a family that likes to communicate and is available to create a good relationship with me so that this experience might be the best it can be for all the people involved. I hope that this ''adventure'' may be full of good memories, trying to find the way to solve every problem, oddity or glitch that might occure. ;)) I'm open to understand everyone's idea about everything and ready to follow the rules we agree together with the family members so that everyone feels the best he/she can in every situation. I hope to find people whose values are respect and kindness, open-mindness and communication, like mine.
