Personal introduction

I have always had a passion for helping, teaching, guiding and looking after people. I feel that becoming an Au Pair will give me the opportunity to fulfil this. I am an extremely motivated individual and will give everything 100%, I always say as long as you've tried your best, no one can ask any more of you! I have had an amazing up bringing and would love to have the opportunity to pass on the lessons I've learnt in life and give children an opportunity to experience of the amazing experiences I've had! I have a lot of experience in looking after and teaching children. I was a Girl Guide leader for 6 years, helping them in all aspects of creativity, camping, becoming a woman, life skills, cooking and many other things. I enjoyed this time in my life a lot and it encouraged my passion for helping, teaching and guiding children in life, using my own personal experiences and lessons I have learnt in my life as well. I was a swimming teacher for my dads swim school for 5 years, teaching children aged 3 and up the importance of water safety and how to swim all the different strokes. This was an amazing time as it was always a proud moment seeing the children develop their skills and become better each week. I have completed a lot of work experience in schools coaching sports and helping out in classrooms. This allowed me to interact with children of all learning and physical abilities. I loved being able to help them figure things out for themselves and encourage them when they felt they couldn't perform very well. I have also had some experience in basic babysitting duties for family and friends. This included taking and picking children up from school, clubs etc, cooking, cleaning, shopping and putting children to bed.
