Dear future aupair, If you care about children, would like to learn Danish and the Danish culture, and you are looking for a nice family who is in need of help in the househould we could be a perfect match! We expect you to be kind at heart, loyal, hard working and have a positive spirit. We are a traditional family of 4, with two girls of the age of 3 and 9 years of age. Both are in institutions (kindergarden and school) during the day not far from our house. We are a normal family with a busy life and in order to be able to have some flexibility we need help with the household, cleaning the house, daily chores and babysitting the kids. We live in a house with a yard in a nice neighbourhood just right outside Copenhagen. The house is within walking distance from public transportation to Copenhagen (which you can reach within 20 min). By bike downtown Copenhagen can be reached in 30 min.
We need you to clean the house, help keep the house tidy all times, iron, take care of our laundry, bring the kids to/from the institutions from time to time, washing windows, help getting the children ready in the morning, cooking sometimes and grocery shopping. Sometimes we will need you to play with the kids and entertain them. We expect you to to take your job very seriously, to be responsible, flexible, reliable and do a good job, and least but not last loving and caring towards children. We expect you to have a positive attitude, outgoing and cheerful. In return we promise to treat you with respect and take you into our lives. As the children only speak Danish we need you to be interested in learning the language quickly, and will help you enroll into Danish language school. Experience as an aupair is an advantage.
