Dear Au Pair, Thank you for looking at our profile - we hope that you’ll consider becoming part of our family and if we are not exactly what you are looking for, we hope you find the family that’s perfect for you. We live in Limassol (Cyprus), and we are looking for a responsible and kind au pair to become part of our family. Best wishes, Cathelijne, Jochem, Anne-Lotte and Floris -- About us: We are a Dutch family of four, Cathelijne, Jochem, Anne-Lotte (8) and Floris (7). The kids are two active persons, who enjoy a variety of outdoor as well as indoor activities- everything from swimming, football, horse riding to lego and playing games. They are attending an International school in Limassol, and use Dutch (and English) as their main language. Cathelijne is a Marketing Manager and Jochem works as an Commercial Director. We both work full time and travel quite a bit with work, so having another family member with us, such as an au pair, whom we can trust is extremely important to our family. We speak a mixture of Dutch and English at home and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to learn English, if you’d like to. We are looking for a mature, responsible and kind person, who truly loves children and who knows how to care for them. If you like helping out around the house and cooking too that’s always good, but the most important thing for us is that you love being with children. Since you’ll be responsible for many things in Lotte's and Floris's lives, your opinions and thoughts matter and together, we’ll make decisions regarding their activities. The kids both go to an international school in Limassol which runs from 7:50 until 1:30. There is an after school (homework) club from 1:30 until 2:30 pm, which we expect they will attend 2-3 days. We expect that you will help us by helping drop the kids off at school, picking them up , preparing food and then generally keeping the house in order (we have also a professional cleaning lady twice a week) while the kids are at school. The routine will likely vary depending on our work schedules which can change week to week. We would like a very energetic, fun, dependable and calm person to join our family and find her self useful around the house in anything related to kids. We like a hard working, self-motivated individual, quick learner and proactive person. You need to be able to be in good health and being able to pick them up if the situation requires it. Also we need you to be a confident person, able to deal effectively with children tantrums and able to comfort them quickly. We expect once at home, to help them wash, cook food, make sure they eat both cooked food/vegies/fruits /give and something bought from the market. We also need help with their laundry, tidying up their room and some light housework. We are a relax, active, aware and mature family. We like to explain things. We give constructive feedback often so you know all the time what you need to do and when. Our kids are fun an kind and they get attached very quickly. They'll probably tell you they love you within a week of your stay here. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
