Hi everyone we are new to this but it seems like a good idea for our family, My wife is going back to work after the birth of our second child one year ago and we have decide to have the more personal touch of an au pair virus using day care centers. We have 2 boys and 1 dog who are great fun to be around, we live in a nice family orientated housing estate on the edge of town with a park across the road and bus service to the center of town. The estuary is close by and the beach is only a few minutes away and if you just want to hang there is a swimming pool in the back yard. The house is fully conditioned for the warmer months and the school is only a 5 minute walk away. The ideal person should have some English even if it is only broken so we can each understand the basics and maybe would like to be involved in family events and outings and want to try fit in as part of the family. We have 2 living areas and several out door relaxing areas to get some time to yourself.
Its probably pretty standard au pair role as both my wife and I will be starting work early so the children will still be in bed when we leave, so breakfast, school run for the 4 yr old and the 1 yr old is really easy going but very active. Light house work keeping the place tidy and cleaning up after yourself. Between 30 and 40 hours per week depending on or roasters for that week and a couple of days off on the weekend. Your own room with queen sized bed and fully furnished with air conditioning. Pocket money off 200 dollars a week and extra for any additional times.
